      Moorcroft is a Special School and is part of a multi Academy called The Eden Academy. It is a secondary school for students aged between 11 and 19 years with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Some of the pupils may also have additional sensory or physical impairments or challenging behaviour.

      At Moorcroft we aim to provide the best possible education outcomes for our students. All of our pupils have a “personalised learning programme” to help them achieve their best. This means that we adapt our curriculum to meet the needs of everyone. We also take great pride in helping our young people become more independent so they can meet the many challenges in society.
