Midlands Air Ambulance Charity due to open shop in Hereford

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) currently has signage on the former Laura Ashley shop on the corner of Commercial Street and Gomond Street.

There is no date yet as to when it will open; with its website just saying ‘coming soon’.

OTHER NEWS:

The building has been closed since 2020 after fashion firm Laura Ashley went into administration.

As well as stocking pre-loved goods, the MAAC shop will also feature a community hub, which will be a free resource for local people, groups and businesses.

There is currently a sales assistant role being advertised at the shop for nine hours a week (including all day on a Sunday) at a rate of £10.42 an hour.

This involves supporting the set up of the new shop and work as part of a team to deliver effective and efficient retail operations.
