Police were called to reports of a group fighting in the street with weapons at around 10pm.
Males and females began to flee the scene as police arrived at the scene and two suspects were detained after a chase.
CCTV footage showed that one of the detained females was allegedly involved in an altercation that started the initial fight.
She and a male were arrested on suspicion of affray and points and blades offences.
Further investigations led to another male’s arrest the following day and he was allegedly in possession of the two knives which have been shared in images by Wandsworth Police.
He is now in police custody.
PS Nuttall said: “A fantastic display of courage and professionalism from the officers involved in pursuing and arrested dangerous individuals who decide to arm themselves with knives in order to intimidate and harm innocent members of public.”
A spokesperson for Wandsworth Police said: “The call came in at 22:05hrs and officers knew it wouldn’t be good news. At that time, it never is.
“Battersea Safer Neighbourhoods teams took the initiative and headed to the CAD as Response flew to it as well.
“A large group were reportedly fighting, whilst armed, and on arrival the teams found both males and females who ran off upon seeing us.
“Officers gave chase and detained two of the fleeing suspects and CCTV enquiries made quickly established that one of the detained females was involved in an altercation that started the initial fight.
“Both were arrested on suspicion of affray and points and blades offences.
“A male was also arrested the next day as the follow up investigation continued, and he was in possession of the two pictured offensive weapons.
“He remains in police custody.”
