As the Top 50 Cocktail Bars in the UK have been confirmed and more than 20 of them are in London.
The list – created by publisher William Reed – is curated to help customers find the next must-go to spot, with previous lists including the best gastropubs and boutique hotels.
Discussing the esteemed list, the Group Director at William Reed, Publisher of Top 50 Cocktail Bars, Chris Lowe said “It’s so exciting to see so many new names on the list which just highlights the breadth of talent there is across the UK.
“London will always have a decent portion of the list, but it is amazing to see so many other cities show up, like Glasgow and Birmingham.
“The list continues to grow to help people discover hidden gems and the UK’s best bartending talent.”

Satan’s Whiskers in Bethnal Green was the highest-ranked London cocktail bar, the two-time winner of the number one spot offers classic cocktails and new exciting options.
The list describes the bar as: “Whimsically known as London’s ‘bartenders’ bar’, it is not your clichéd swanky London cocktail bar, but full to the brim with character that oozes from its exposed bricks, taxidermy and hip-hop music and unique décor.”
On the review site Tripadvisor , Santan’s Whiskers has a score of 4.5/5 with one fan sharing: “A great experience! The menu is terrific and changes daily. The bartenders make clever and tasty cocktails. They’ll also make your traditional favourite, hoping it’s the best you’ve had.”
Also on the list in London was Side Hustle, a Latin American casual bar and restaurant.
On the Top 50 list, it’s described as: “influenced by the flavours of Latin America with an extensive collection of Agave-based spirits available.
“The cocktail program, under the direction of bar director Liana Oster, showcases the flavours and traditions of Latin America along with classic and contemporary British, European and American offerings.”
