The incident happened in Stowe Road at the junction with Thornfield Road at around 2.50am on March 3.
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: ” At approximately 02:50hrs on Sunday, 3 March, emergency services were called to a report of a stabbing in Stowe Road at the junction with Thornfield Road in Shepherd’s Bush W12.
“Officers attended along with LAS. A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital suffering stab injuries. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“CID detectives are investigating. There has been no arrest at this early stage.
