South London homes without water due to issue at Cheam Water Works

Residents in Sutton, Carshalton, Morden, Cheam, North Cheam, Wallington, Hackbridge, Worcester Park, Epsom, Ewell, and South Croydon are affected.

SES Water confirmed the issue earlier today, which has caused widespread disruptions to water supplies across the affected areas.

Teams from SES Water are currently on site working to resolve the problem and restore services as quickly as possible. However, there is no confirmed timeline yet for when normal supply will resume.

A spokesperson for SES Water apologised for the inconvenience, saying: “We’re sorry for the disruption caused and thank you for your patience while we carry out these essential repairs.”

Updates will be provided as the situation develops, and residents are encouraged to check SES Water’s website and social media channels for the latest information.
