When going for your shopping for essential goods, you would hope shopkeepers and staff at supermarkets are keeping their hygiene to the highest standards.
However there are many in north London that have scored poorly in their most recent inspection, with either a 2/5 meaning that improvement is ‘necessary’, or below.
Out of the notable chains, just one Iceland store and one The Co-Operative feature in the list, with the others being smaller businesses.
Many of these food hygiene ratings are not recent and it’s possible that any issues found have been addressed since, but these are the scores that these shops still hold to this day until they are inspected once again.
