The Globe, situated in Moorgate, remained partially open during the renovation but is now fully operational, boasting an upgraded “beautiful white and gold exterior” and improved facilities.
Located near major banks and law firms, The Globe serves as a popular gathering spot for after-work drinks and weekends and is easily accessible from Moorgate and Liverpool Street Underground stations.
General manager Matthew Gradley expressed excitement over the reopening, stating: “We are delighted to be fully open and can’t wait to serve our loyal guests and welcome new ones.”
The Globe, which has historical significance as the birthplace of poet John Keats, has maintained its traditional interior while enhancing its amenities.
The refurbishment has also led to the creation of five new jobs in the local area.
The pub, once two separate establishments, now features four bars and is ready to serve a new food menu alongside its extensive drink’s selection.
Traditional dishes such as beer-battered fish and chips, steaks, and burgers will be available, as well as an array of new options.
The drinks menu is set to offer a broad selection of craft beers, ciders, and cocktails.
