Herefordshire speeders caught breaking the limit

Oliver Richard Carleton entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Bath.

The court heard that the 34-year-old had been caught breaking the limit in a temporary 50 miles per hour zone on the M4 in south Gloucestershire on April 25.

Carleton, of Bishopswood, Ross-on-Wye, was fined £146 and received three penalty points. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £58 victim surcharge.

Gracie Perry entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Worcester.

The court heard that the 23-year-old BMW driver had been caught speeding in a 40 miles per hour zone on the A49 at Much Birch on April 26.

Perry, of Walford Road, Ross-on-Wye, was fined £323 and received five penalty points. She must also pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £129 victim surcharge.

Robert James Douglass entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Worcester.

The court heard that the 37-year-old had been caught breaking the limit while behind the wheel of an Audi in a 40 miles per hour zone on the A4103 Fromes Hill in Herefordshire on August 9.

Douglass, of Avocet Road, Holmer, was fined £576 and received six penalty points. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £230 victim surcharge.
