Exclusive sneak peek inside new Hereford Matalan
On Saturday (November 23) the shop will open its doors for the first time.
The Hereford Times had the chance to go along and see the shop before it opens, to give you a sneak peek inside its doors.

A range of shoes for men, women and children will be sold in the new shop (Image: Bridie Adams) The new Matalan store in Hereford marks the retailer’s very first location in the area, providing local customers with convenient access to Matalan fashion and homeware.
The women’s section takes up a large amount of the shopfloor (Image: Bridie Adams) Matalan has said the new location shows its “commitment to bringing affordable, stylish collections closer to communities across the UK, enhancing the shopping experience for customers in Hereford and its neighbouring towns”.
A 25 per cent discount will be available on partywear ahead of the festive season (Image: Bridie Adams) The official launch event will kick off from 9am on Saturday, November 23, with exciting giveaways, entertainment and the mayor coming to cut the ribbon.
There is also a discount on men’s partywear (Image: Bridie Adams) Within the shop, customers will be able to shop the latest fashion for the whole family with womenswear, menswear and kidswear departments and a homeware section.
A range of men’s clothes are available (Image: Bridie Adams) In addition, the shop will be home to some other popular concessions including Claire’s Accessories and Card Factory. These were not yet completely set up at the time of our visit.
Children’s nightwear is also 25 per cent off (Image: Bridie Adams) A click-and-collect service will also allow customers to conveniently pick up orders made through www.matalan.co.uk.
